Hypothetically speaking, what does one do when the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom don't necessarily get along?

Asking for a friend, naturally.

    Get an XL shirt (or dress if they're more feminine) and put them in it together until they're best friends. Then get them best-friends necklaces. Minor investments...major returns!
